Hello everyone,
I'm John, the IT manager at InnoTech. I'm writing to share some exciting updates about the improvements we've made to our IT systems. Our main goal is to boost efficiency and create a better working environment for everyone.
Over the past month, we've completely upgraded our computer network infrastructure. You may have already noticed that files are loading much faster and video calls are running more smoothly. In fact, our network speed has improved by 300%, which means significantly less waiting time and fewer frustrating delays during your workday.
One of our biggest changes is the implementation of Microsoft OneDrive as our new cloud-based storage system. This means you can now access your work files securely from your phone, home computer, or any device with internet access. No more emailing files to yourself or carrying USB drives around!
Security is always a top priority, which is why we've introduced two-factor authentication. This means that besides your password, you'll need to enter a code sent to your phone to access company systems. While this extra step takes a few seconds, it's essential for protecting our sensitive data from hackers. We've also installed new anti-virus software across all company devices to defend against ransomware and other cyber threats.
We know these changes might seem overwhelming at first. That's why we're organising hands-on training sessions next week in Meeting Room A. You can sign up for a session through the HR portal. We're confident that once you're familiar with these new systems, you'll find your daily work much easier and more efficient.
