The Premium Tier Launch

Sam: Right team, looks like we need to make a call on this premium tier pricing. The dev team's saying they can roll it out next month, but Marketing wants to know exactly what's included.

Rachel: I've run the numbers on this - if we go in at $49.99 monthly, our margin's decent even with the extra storage. But I'm a bit worried about the competitor pricing - Skytech just dropped theirs to $39.99.

Tom: Yeah, but their API calls are capped at 10k. We're offering unlimited, plus the analytics dashboard. That's worth the extra tenner, surely?

Sam: Good point. How are we looking on the backend for those analytics? Last thing we need is everything falling over if we get a surge of sign-ups.

Tom: We've load tested up to 50k concurrent users. Should be fine. The only thing we need to nail down is the export limits - what are we thinking?

Rachel: The feedback from the beta users was that they need at least 100k rows per export. That work for you, Tom?

Tom: It'll mean upgrading the processing queue, but yeah, we can handle it. Might need to stick a 24-hour cooldown period between bulk exports though.

Sam: Makes sense. Rachel, can you mock up the pricing page with all this? We should probably flag the export limit clearly so we don't get grief later.

Rachel: On it. I'll draft something today. Do we want to go with a proper comparison table? Show exactly where we've got the edge over Skytech?

Sam: Definitely. Just keep it factual - don't want Legal on our backs again.
