Hello! My name is Susanna, and I work at the zoo. I am a zoo keeper. I love my job because I work with animals every day.
At the zoo, we have many animals. We have lions, tigers, elephants, and even penguins! My job is to take care of the animals and make sure they are happy and healthy.
Every morning, I start work at 7 o'clock. I arrive at the zoo, and the first thing I do is feed the animals. The lions and tigers eat meat, and the elephants eat fruit and vegetables. The penguins eat fish.
After I feed the animals, I clean their areas. The zoo must be clean for the animals and for the people who visit. Sometimes, I see visitors when I clean, and they ask me questions. They like to learn about the animals.
At 10 o'clock, the zoo opens to the public. Many families come to see the animals. I give talks about the animals during the day. I tell people what the animals eat, where they live in the wild, and what they like to do.
Right now, I am taking care of a baby elephant. She is very cute! She likes to play with her ball, and she drinks a lot of milk! I feed her every 3 hours.
My job is not easy, but it is fun. I also have to watch the animals carefully. If an animal is sick, I call the vet. The vet helps the animals when they are not well.
In the afternoon, I check all the animals again. I make sure they have enough food and water. Sometimes, I watch the lions play or see the penguins swim in their pool. I enjoy watching the animals because they are very active in the afternoon.
I finish work at 5 o'clock. When I go home, I am tired, but I am happy. I love working with animals, and I love my job at the zoo.
