Stamp Collecting

Hello, my name is Mark. I have a hobby. I collect stamps. Every day, I look at my stamp collection. I have stamps from many countries. I have stamps with animals, flowers, and famous people. I have over 500 stamps.

On weekends, I go to the stamp market. I meet other collectors there. We talk about stamps and sometimes trade them. I also visit the post office. They have new stamps every month. I buy them and add them to my collection.

My favourite stamp is one with a big red dragon. It is from China. I like it because it is colourful and unique. Collecting stamps teaches me about different places. I learn about history and culture. I enjoy my hobby very much. It makes me happy.

Sometimes, I write letters to friends in other countries. They send me stamps from their letters. I keep the stamps and read their letters. I also join a stamp club at school. We meet every Thursday. We show our new stamps and talk about them.

My family supports my hobby. My father gives me his old stamps. My mother helps me organise my collection. I use special books to keep the stamps safe. I am careful when I handle them. I clean my stamps gently.

I also read magazines about stamp collecting. I learn how to find rare stamps. I dream about finding a very old stamp one day. Collecting stamps is fun and interesting. It is a simple hobby, but it brings me joy. I hope to collect more stamps every year.

When I look at my stamps, I feel proud. Each stamp has a story. They show me the world on small pieces of paper. I love my hobby, and I want to share it with others.
