Sophie: James, can you believe Anna's birthday party is this Saturday? I have nothing nice to wear! I really need something new.
James: Tell me about it! I looked in my wardrobe this morning, and all my shirts look old. What are you thinking of getting?
Sophie: I don't know exactly. I saw a nice dress in a shop window yesterday. Maybe something like that? Perhaps a blue one, or maybe green? What do you think?
James: Blue is a lovely colour on you. Sophie, remember that blue top you have? It looks great. A blue dress would be perfect for a party.
Sophie: Okay, maybe blue then. What about you? You need a new shirt, definitely.
James: Yes, I do. I always wear black shirts or grey shirts. Maybe it's time for a change! What colour do you suggest?
Sophie: Hmm, how about green? A nice dark green shirt? Or maybe even red? That would be different for you!
James: Red? Wow, that's brave! Okay, maybe a dark red or a green one. I'll see what they have. Do you think I need new trousers too? My black jeans are okay, aren't they?
Sophie: Your black jeans are fine, James. Just a nice new shirt. But what about shoes? Are you wearing those old brown ones again?
James: Hey! My brown shoes are comfortable! But yes, maybe you're right. They are very old. Perhaps some new black shoes?
Sophie: Yes! A red or green shirt, black jeans, and new black shoes. You'll look very smart! Okay, shopping plan: blue dress for me, new shirt and shoes for you. Shall we go to the town centre this afternoon? Around 2 pm?
James: Sounds like a plan! Let's meet at the bus stop at two.
