Eva: Hello? Tom? Is that you?

Tom: Hi Eva, yes, it's me. Listen, about the party tonight.

Eva: Yes, I am ready for the party! Are you ready? We need to leave soon. Are you excited?

Tom: Well, Eva. I am very sorry, but I can't come tonight.

Eva: Oh no! You can't come? Why not? What's wrong? Are you okay?

Tom: Not really. I feel sick now. I have a bad headache. And I am very tired, no energy. I think I need to stay home.

Eva: Oh, poor you! That sounds bad. Do you have a cold? Or maybe the flu?

Tom: Yes, maybe it's a cold. My throat is sore too. I am not well enough for a party. I just want to be in bed with a hot drink and rest.

Eva: Yes, absolutely. You need rest. Don't worry about the party. Your health is important. Can I bring you anything? Maybe some soup? Or medicine?

Tom: That's very kind, Eva, really, but I am okay. My mum is here. She has a cup of tea for me. Thanks very much for the offer.

Eva: Okay then. Well, I hope you feel better soon! Get lots of rest. Text me tomorrow?

Tom: Okay, I can do that. Thanks, Eva. Have a great time at the party! Bye.

Eva: It's okay! Take care. Bye!
