Amy: Morning, Sam! Oh dear, you look very sleepy today.
Sam: Morning, Amy. I am! I don't like mornings at all! I am definitely not a morning person. What time do you usually wake up? You always look so awake.
Amy: Oh, I'm always up early. My alarm goes off at half past six every day, even on weekends sometimes! I like the quiet time in the morning.
Sam: Half past six? Every day? Wow! That's very early. I think my alarm is set for eight o'clock, but I often press the snooze button two or three times! So I probably get up around quarter past eight.
Amy: Really? What time do you actually start work? Don't we start at the same time?
Sam: Yes, we both start at nine o'clock. But I'm lucky, I live really close to the office. It's only a ten-minute walk down the road for me. So I can get up late and still be on time. Usually!
Amy: That explains it! You are lucky. I start work at nine too, but my apartment is on the other side of town. It takes a long time to get here! I have to leave home at half past seven to arrive by nine. I take the bus, and the traffic can be bad sometimes.
Sam: Yes, the buses can be slow. That sounds difficult. Do you have time for breakfast before you leave home?
Amy: Oh yes, always! I can't start the day without breakfast. I usually have some cereal or toast, and definitely a big cup of coffee. What about you?
Sam: Just coffee! Black coffee, very strong. No time for breakfast at home. I usually grab a croissant or something from the shop next door when I get to work.
Amy: Sam, you need proper breakfast! It gives you energy for the day! Maybe get up ten minutes earlier?
Sam: Maybe... but probably not!
