An Interview With A President

The President of France works in Paris. His office is in a very beautiful old building called the Elysee Palace. Every day he starts work at 7 am and finishes very late.

"I love my country," he says. "My job is very difficult but very interesting. I meet many important people from different countries. I travel a lot and speak to many people."

The President speaks English and German, but he always speaks French in France. He likes French food, but he does not have much time to go to restaurants. He eats lunch at his desk most days.

"My favourite place in Paris is the garden at the palace," he says. "It is quiet there. Sometimes I walk there and think about important decisions."
