Editing - Editing - Spelling: A Near Miss
Look at the text below. In some lines, there are some punctuation mistakes and other lines are correct.
If you think a line is correct, write "ok" in the box for that line number. If, however, you think there is a punctuation mistake, write the type of mistake in the box for that line number.
Write either:
- "period" (full stop)(.)
- "capital" (H, not h - or vice versa)
- "comma" (,)
- "apostrophe" (')
- "speech" (")
- "bracket" ("(")
For example:
if you see "Howards car" - write "apostrophe" in the relevant box.
if you see "three apple's" you also need to write "apostrophe" in the relevant box.
