Elementary Vocabulary Exercise: Gradeable or Absolute Adjectives?
Gradeable Adjectives are those before which we can use words like "quite", "very" and "a little".
Examples of these are words like hungry and beautiful.
Absolute Adjectives are those before which we can use words like "absolutely", and "totally".
Examples of these are words like starving and gorgeous.
Look at this list of adjectives. Some of them are gradeable and some are absolute. But which is which? After each adjective, write either a capital G or a capital A depending on if you think it is Gradeable or Absolute.
