Jenny's Party - Reading Exercise
Beginner Level
Read the text and then answer True or False for each question.
Hi Jenny!
I cannot come to your party on Saturday. I am very sorry. My sister is coming to visit me this weekend. She lives in Edinburgh and I don't see her very often. The last time I saw her was at Christmas. I am sad because I want to see you and Kate at the party. Kate is always very busy! Can we have coffee next week? Tell me what day is good for you.
My new flat is very nice. It is small but I like it. The kitchen is big and I love cooking now. Yesterday I made a cake! It was not very good but I am learning. The shops are very close to my flat. There is a big supermarket and a nice cafe. The cafe has very good cakes. Maybe we can go there for our coffee? The workers there are very friendly and the prices are not expensive.
Hope you understand!
