Cambridge A2 Key (KET)
A2 Key is a pre-intermediate-level qualification. A2 Key is targeted at novice students of English. It is targeted at CEFR Level A2. The A2 Key compares to a TOEFL ibt of around 20.
Cambridge B1 Preliminary (PET)
B1 Preliminary is an intermediate-level qualification and is designed for learners who have mastered the basic of English and now have practical language skills for everyday use. It is targeted at Level B1. The B1 Preliminary compares to a TOEFL ibt of between 32 to 45.
Cambridge B2 First (First Certificate in English)
The B2 First is a worldwide recognised language examination. Its level of difficulty is comparable with the TOEFL examination. Whereas the validity of the test results of the TOEFL expires after 2 years, the B2 First has a lifelong validity. The B2 First compares to a TOEFL ibt of between 46 to 93.
Cambridge C1 Advanced (Certificate in Advanced English)
C1 Advanced, also known as the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), is an international English language examination developed by Cambridge English Language Assessment. It is targeted at Level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and can be used for study, work and immigration purposes.
IELTS
The IELTS is an international standardised test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers. It is jointly managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge English Language Assessment, and was established in 1989. IELTS is one of the major English-language tests in the world.
TOEFL
Test of English as a Foreign Language, TOEFL, is a standardized test of English language ability for non-native speakers wishing to enroll in American universities. The test is accepted by many English-speaking academic and professional institutions. TOEFL is one of the two major English-language tests in the world, the other being the IELTS.
Cambridge C2 Proficiency (CPE)
The C2 Proficiency (formerly Certificate of Proficiency in English or CPE) is the most advanced general English exam provided by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. In the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages CPE is ranked at the C2 level. Like all the other Cambridge exams, once the candidate has passed the exam this qualification never expires. It is considered to be very valuable for professional purposes, since a large number of companies and employers use it as an indicator of the would-be employee's English skills.
