Life in Brighton
I am studying English in Brighton this year. It is very different from my city in Spain! The weather here is cold and it often rains. In my city, it is always hot and sunny.
Brighton is next to the sea, and I love walking on the beach. The beach is not like my beach at home - it has stones, not sand! Many people swim in the sea but the water is very cold. I only put my feet in the water one time.
The city centre is very busy. There are lots of shops and restaurants. The food is different here. I like fish and chips but I miss Spanish food. My favourite cafe is near my school. They make very good tea and the colour inside is blue and white. It is small but pretty.
I live with an English family. They are very nice and help me with my English. Their house is not in the centre - it is 20 minutes by bus. The buses here are red and they come every 10 minutes. In my city in Spain, the buses are blue and we wait a long time!
I think Brighton is a good place to study. It is not too big and not too small. Perfect!
