Liar Liar!!!
Students move around the class asking basic questions to their class companions. The trick is this: a third of the answers must be false. The skill is this: which ones are lies?
Can and Could Survey
Survey grid where students talk about the abilities of different people.
Which is the biggest?
Students choose and discuss different categories of people and things using the comparative and superlative.
Comparative Groups
Students use the comparative to compare different groups of nouns, e.g. groups of jobs, groups of vehicles, etc, etc. The superlative can also be used if you want.
"Can" survey
Student to teacher, then student to student survey to practice 'can' for ability.
When did you last?
Student to student survey to practice past simple.
