A2 Key (KET)

The A2 Key, formerly Key English Test (KET), is equivalent to A2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. A pass at A2 Key is equivalent to scoring about 30-40 on the TOEFL ibt.

There are three papers: reading & writing, listening, and speaking.

B1 Preliminary (PET)

The B1 Preliminary, formerly PET, is equivalent to B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. A pass at B1 Preliminary is equivalent to scoring about 60-70 on the TOEFL ibt.

There are four papers: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

The IELTS is an international standardised test of English language proficiency jointly managed by Cambridge English Language Assessment and the British Council. IELTS is one of the major English-language tests in the world. IELTS is accepted by most academic institutions in English-speaking countries, and various professional organisations across the world. It is also a requirement for immigration into several English-speaking countries.
