Have ToTarget Language: Obligation and lack of obligation: have to / had to.Description: What do students have to do as part of their daily work routine? This lesson focuses on both the positive and negative forms of "have to" and ends with a look at the past form too in the context of a customer making a complaint by phone.

Meetings AbroadTarget Language: Modals & expressions of advice, obligation.Description: Looks at the important issue of business trips abroad and differences in culture to teach modal verbs of necessity, obligation and prohibition. In this lesson, there is a particular focus on reading and writing e-mails about the issue.

Urgent MailsTarget Language: Giving and receiving instructions.Description: Students listen to a boss telling her assistant about some urgent e-mails she needs sending out. Students complete the notes and then use relevant language to write parts of the e-mails in a final game.

Tools & GadgetsTarget Language: Describing objects and their uses.Description: The class thinks about what objects and gadgets are required for an office. The listening section of the lesson consists of people describing other similar tools and gadgets and students then use functional expressions such as 'is made for' and 'is used to' in a speaking exercise that finishes the lesson.
