The Inquisitive GuestTarget Language: Verb "to be" interrogative form, job vocabulary.Description: After some initial work on job names, we meet Harry, an odd character who goes to a party and asks lots of questions using the verb 'to be'. We look at the structure of these questions and then the lesson finishes with a dice game that should also be downloaded and can be found just below.

The Man Who Lives On MarsTarget Language: Present Simple Negative, /aI/ and /eI/ phonemes, animal vocabulary.Description: The lesson opens with some there is/are/it's revision to describe places that are easy or hard to live in. The main reading deals with an astronaut who lives in a simulated Mars environment and introduces the negative form of the Present Simple. There is a look at the structure of the negative before some pronunciation work on two frequently used vowel phonemes: /aI/ and /eI/. The lesson ends with a fun game to give practice of negative forms.
