A Friend VisitsTarget Language: Giving directions, following instructions, the imperative.Description: At the beginning of the lesson, students talk about what there is to see in their own towns. There is some practice at following directions on a map, before students listen to a "spoken" pen-pal letter where a friend talks about her hometown and says how to find her house. The lesson finishes with some freer spoken practice at giving directions.
